Trust is a key aspect of this community - indeed, of any community. Therefore at this time access to \swarm it^ will be limited to those who we trust (which itself is based on our past interactions with them). This doesn't mean that you are not trust-worthy, just that in the absence of prior interactions with us (or with people who we trust) we simply don't know.
As the initial participants weave the community (which will include the opportunity to meet in-person), we will open up to new participants (who would need to be invited by an existing participant).
We recognize that this trust-based approach will deny some people the access to this community. To address that, and in the spirit of abundance, everything we do will be open source and you are welcome to start your own community on the same principles inviting people that you trust. Perhaps one day the communities will merge.
